We worked with the client to develop color, material and furniture standards that were implemented in several facilities, including a new 32-unit memory care prototype in Westlake, Ohio, followed by an interior renovation of a second facility in Akron, Ohio.

Demonstrating sensitivity to the plan—adjacencies of spaces, flooring patterns, providing way finding cues, as well as layout of furnishings—was essential in helping to alleviate the anxiety of the residents.
